PZ43 Knife Gate Valve ANSI

Feature:
The opening and closing of this valve is the flashboard. The movement direction of the flashboard is vertical to the fluid direction. The manual PZ43 knife gate valve ANSI can only be opened and closed fully. It can not be used for adjusting and throttling medium. The flashboard has two seal surfaces. The two seal surfaces of the gate valve will form a wedge angle. The wedge angle will be different along with the valve parameters. Usually, the angle is 50°. The flashboard of wedge type PZ43 knife gate valve ANSI can be made into a whole part. This flashboard is called firm flashboard; it can also be made into a deformed flashboard to improve its technology and make up the deviation of seal face angle. Then the flashboard is called elastic flashboard.

Announcement：
When PZ43 knife gate valve ANSI is closed, the seal surface can be closed only by medium pressure. Namely, the seal surface of flashboard will be pressed toward the valve seat on the other side though medium pressure. It is self seal. Most PZ43 knife gate valve ANSI adopts compulsory seal. Namely, when the valve is closed, the flashboard should be pressed by force toward the valve seat to ensure the tightness of sealing surface. Generally, this kind of valve shall be installed horizontally in pipeline.

7. Leakage: hard seal: D level (liquid 0.1 × DN mm3/s); Soft seal: A level (zero leakage);
